I worked with Suzy Sharpe on
Crowd sourcing has been around since social was a thing, and focus groups have been an agency staple for as long as agencies have existed. Suzy had a different vision of how to combine both—diversifying participation and broadening reach while increasing insight to maket .
I worked closely with Sharpe Insights to craft a B2B & B2C business model and experience to better connect businesses with perspetive customers through a prescreen process and global alert system that lessens the overhead on moderators and screeners.
With my help, Sharpe Insights solidified the business strategy and out-reach through native and web-based app participation and secured funding for their idea... I'm still waiting to hear whether or not I get my face-to-face with Mark Cuban.
Design... As you go.
Suzy had an idea. Lots of ideas.
And passion.
With little to go on except an abundance of handwaving and a week of late night back and forth calls, I helped solidify her vision into an actionable business plan, craft her presentation and designed a working identity and 80-some app screens to pitch to potential investors. It was the the kind of project that reminded me why—even after 20 years in the industry—I love what I do.
